Sunset Cliffs Tim Hoover and Trevor Pike surf session. 2-8-06
My home break South Garbage, this is the place where my dad always wants to have his birthday party.
South Garbage is located along the southernmost accessible part of Sunset Cliffs. At the cross street of Ladera and Sunset Cliffs Blvd. This spot really packs in some nut cases especially on the weekends. The mushy reef break is my favorite place to longboard. Today’s session was very hazy making it difficult get the close up crisp shots that are common of Sunny San Diego.
I enjoy a good challenge so instead of trying for the up close cropped shots, today’s session was focused on framing up the whole wave and being able to deliver more of a sense of how big the wave is compared to the surfers.
